Mission Statement

The Competere Foundation is an educational Foundation, whose purpose is to promulgate the ideas of Shanker Singham, CEO of Competere LLC.

The Full Name of the Foundation is: “The Competere Foundation for Trade and Competition Policy”. The Foundation is registered as a non-profit organization under the 501(c)(3) IRS code.

These ideas are subsumed under the overriding goal of global poverty alleviation, which the Foundation believes will be reached through the proper understanding of Trade LiberalisationCompetitive Markets, and Property Rights Protection, as well as other key concepts.

The intended audience of the Foundation is broad.

The Foundation will make available to the general public, education materials which will demonstrate why this approach to competition has been the tried and true method in history. Both written and video presentation will be used for these purposes.

The Foundation, as it develops its presence, will provide services, including speakers, online classes, and a website that will allow for questions and collaboration amongst those who share our goals.

We hope to engage students, government officials, members of the business community, and all members of the general public concerned with educating government policy and alleviating global poverty.
